A Royal reception

On Saturdays we hire out The Empress of India for wedding parties.

Features such our two striking mussel shell chandeliers and stunning pewter bar which is punctuated by a large mirror originally from the Rex Cinema in Calcutta will make your reception memorable and intimate.

In the dining area we can seat up to 70 people overall, alternatively we can provide a buffet for up to 150 guests.

Serving the best in British seasonal food, bespoke sit down, canapé and buffet menus can be created to suit your requirements. If you decide to proceed we will arrange a tasting with you and your partner and our Head Chef will also be present to guide you through each dish. At the same time, we will recommend suitable wines to match your preferred food choices and you will try these too. Please click here to view the full wine list.

We can assist you as much or as little as you prefer with all aspects of your day including flowers, wedding cake, photography and all different kinds of entertainment. We are licensed until 11pm for drinks and music and can upon request apply for a late license.
